CAPTure at REslag Workshop – Turning waste into value

19-20 June / Rabat, Morocco

CAPTure project will be presented at the REslag workshop. This event is organised by the consortium of REslag project.  The main objective of this project is to valorise the steel slag that is currently not being recycled. On of the specific targets of the project is to reduce 10%-20% of energy consumption by Thermal Energy Storage applied to EAF off-gas.

The RESLAG Workshop “Turning steel waste into value” current agenda is now available to download here. Updates of the agenda will be posted in REslag Website, Twitter and LinkedIn accoutns.

The RESLAG European project Final Workshop will bring together an interdisciplinary panel of scientists to present RESLAG project results and current efforts, challenges and future directions for eco-innovation and circular economy initiatives in the field of waste recovery, with a special focus on the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) applications.

Goals of the Workshop:

  • To transfer the knowledge developed within the RESLAG European project to different European industrial companies and the experts in the field of concentrated solar power, extraction of high added metals; production of innovative refractory ceramic compounds and development of thermal energy storage systems for industrial heat recovery applications and plants.
  • To demonstrate the potentiality of the developed pilot systems and to study the potentiality of the commercial exploitation of the developed pilot systems.

Another goal is to provide an opportunity for world’s leading scientists, industrial developers, young researchers/engineers, and aspiring students to interact with each other and inspire new innovations in the field.

Registration is FREE sending the registration form completed to by 7th June 2019.
